Cycling’s greatest legends made their names on the boards of Europe’s indoor velodromes, but for aspiring legends who don’t have access to those facilities – or the full service course of a national team – the Pista Control clincher provides convenient, glue-free mounting. It’s still got the reliable durability, concrete-tuned traction, and unrivaled ride of a Vittoria track tubular; it’s just more convenient to mount and service.

A more robust compound and casing add life and durability while preserving the ride quality of a premium track racing tyre. Unlike our indoor-specific tyres, the Pista Control earns its appellation with asymmetrical, straight-line tread on the outer edge to grip the upslope side – critical on outdoor tracks where conditions aren’t always pristine.

Technology explained

Evolved for concrete or logging base laps, the Pista Control’s Graphene-infused compound provides tacky grip and low rolling resistance with more durability. The upslope shoulder is etched with a subtle, straight tread, adding grip to prevent slide-outs. Beneath the compound, a 290-TPI cotton casing provides more abrasion resistance and longevity than our indoor track tubulars while maintaining race-tuned rolling resistance and a supple, smooth ride quality.
