For the purposes of this statement, the term "cookies" shall also include the other tracking tools used by the Site, as better described below.
The following information is provided for the Site and not for other websites of third parties that may be consulted by the user via links.
This Cookie Policy should be read in addition to the Privacy Policy available at the following link, to which please refer for any other information on the processing of personal data, including users' rights and how to exercise them.

1. Type of cookies used by the Site
Cookies are strings of text downloaded to the user's device and perform various functions including, session tracking, storing information on specific configurations regarding users accessing the Site, facilitating the use of online content, etc.


This Site makes use of both technical and non-technical cookies, in which case a distinction is made between profiling and analytical (non-technical) cookies according to the descriptions below.

1.2. Non-technical cookies

a. Profiling cookies
These cookies are used to link specific actions or recurring behavioural patterns in the use of the offered functionalities (patterns) to specific identified or identifiable subjects, in order to group the different profiles within clusters of homogeneous content of different sizes, so that the holder can, for example, modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalised manner (beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service) and send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user when surfing the web; this type of cookie can be installed on the user's terminal only with the user's consent.

b. Analytical (non-technical) cookies

These cookies are used to assess the effectiveness of the service and carry out analysis of visits to the Site in a non-anonymous or aggregate form.

2. Other social functions (e.g. plugins)

In addition to the above-mentioned cookies, the Site also incorporates plugins and/or commands aimed at enabling easy sharing of content on the following social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube. When the user visits a page of the Site that contains a plugin, the browser connects to the servers of the social network from where the plugin is loaded: the server can then track the visit made to the Site and, where appropriate, associate it with the social network account, in particular if the user is logged in at the time of the visit or if he/she has recently surfed one of the websites containing social plugins. If the user does not wish the social network to record data relating to the visit to the Site, he must log out of the social network account and delete the cookies that the latter has installed in the user's browser.
In relation to certain activities, the Company and the social networks could also act as joint controllers, within the meaning of Article 26 of the GDPR, in particular when the Company, through a plugin, jointly determines with the social the purposes and means of the processing (the latter consisting of the collection and transmission of user data to the social). The Company, in such cases, adheres to the contractual conditions of the social, which could include joint controllerships agreements .
In particular, with regard to the Facebook plug-ins, the Company and Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland act as joint data controllers and the relevant joint data controller agreement ("Data Controller Appendix") can be found at the following link: https://m.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Facebook Ireland is responsible for the data subjects' rights pursuant to Articles 15-20 of the GDPR in relation to the personal data stored by Facebook Ireland as part of the joint processing. Finally, it should be noted that the possible joint controllership agreement does not extend in any case to the processing carried out by social networks in relation to which the Company does not determine the purposes and means of the processing (e.g. the operations carried out by the social network after the communication of the User's data by the Site).

3. Where information collected through cookies is processed
The information collected through cookies is mainly processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Certain third party cookies, however, may result in the relevant information being transferred outside the EEA. In this case, the Company has taken additional technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of any personal data transmitted with the information collected by the cookie, favouring, where possible, the anonymisation of the same.
