Vittoria Joins Fair Rubber Association to Strengthen Fair Labor Practices among Primary Producers of Rubber

Vittoria, the world’s leading brand in performance bicycle tires and accessories, is proud to announce its membership in the Fair Rubber Association. This commitment marks the beginning of an important journey toward more ethical and sustainable rubber sourcing.

By joining the Fair Rubber Association, Vittoria is taking a concrete step to improve labor conditions among its primary producers of rubber, ensuring that the natural rubber used in its tires increasingly supports rubber smallholders, tappers and plantation workers through the payment of a Fair Trade premium. While this is a long-term process, this partnership sets a clear direction for the company’s sustainability efforts. Vittoria is planning to launch its first line of tires made with certified Fair Rubber in September 2025.

At Vittoria, we recognize that sustainability goes beyond materials—it’s about the people who make our products possible. Through our collaboration with the Fair Rubber Association, we are actively contributing to fairer wages and improved working conditions for the primary producers in our supply chain.” said Vanessa ten Hoff, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer.

The Fair Rubber Association works to improve the livelihoods of rubber smallholders, tappers and plantation workers by implementing fair trade principles, including the payment of a Fair Trade premium, which directly benefits workers and their communities. As part of its sustainability journey, Vittoria continues to enhance transparency and ethical responsibility across its operations.
