A bit of turf, a trough of muck, a stretch of pavement, a sprinkling of gravel. For most tyres, that’s an impossible combination of terrain; for the Terreno Mix, it’s just a bike ride. All conditions, all terrains, all types of riding. When we say “mix,” we mean everything – the Terreno Mix is the most versatile tyre in our gravel series.

The tyre’s mix of tread types supports speed on the straights and biting security off camber or in mud without muddying the connection between you and any surface. When conditions do turn sloppy, the tyre’s spacious tread shrugs off mud and clingy, loamy soil.

Technology explained

The Terreno Mix’s Graphene-infused compound is more durable, faster, and lighter than rubber alone, and it’s reinforced with the ultra-durable, supple Endurance nylon casing with additional layers of puncture protection on the center strip and side walls. The fast-rolling center knobs actively clear debris and muck, and the shoulders bite while cornering or off camber.

ho preso la misura da 2", le uso per fare sentieri abbastanza impegnativi per una gravel. Il lato positivo è che sono abbastanza scorrevoli su asfalto (ovviamente non come le terreno dry) e molto sicure su sterrati anche fangosi, rocce, radici, anche umidi se usate a pressioni adatte. Il lato negativo è che si consumano un po' velocemente. Dopo circa 3000 km i tasselli sono evidentemente smussati e sgranati, non credo di poter arrivare a 5000km. Capiamoci, è un consumo normale per una gomma che serve un po' a tutto, ma ho usato anche gomme che si consumano di meno in passato, anche con lo stesso scopo e simile disegno battistrada. Le consiglio comunque e le ricomprerò.

Good choice

a very good tyre for all the conditions.
Fast and grippy on dry hard surfaces, on medium muddy ground, on rocky paths.
It only shows some limits when too wet or sticky, but for that you've got the wet model

mi avete mandato le Terreno Mix 700/38 mentre avevo chiesto le 700/40 Endurance. Va bene lo stesso ma non è quello che avevo ordinato

Tutto ok

Maybe it’s a little wet in spots, dry in others, damp or rocky, or rooty elsewhere: This tire can handle it. The tightly spaced center knobs help it roll fast, and the micro knobs on the outer edge boost off-camber traction at the extremes.
