Mezcal and Peyote debuted the new race casing in 2024, featuring wider nylon threads at 60tpi with a supple feel, offering reduced rider fatigue and increased race-day reliability. This new XC Race construction is capped with our Graphene + Silica Race formulation compound and spans the entire range.

The newbie in the XC Race line is Torrente, offering extreme grip and self-cleaning design for the harshest of muddy conditions. The generous tread spacing clears the peanut butter, mud leaving a clean tread with every rotation. The alternating center ridge maintains speed while providing sharp edges for traction.
